Your Questions, Answered
QHow much does powder coating cost?
The price depends on the size and number of parts, how much old coating and rust must come off, the surface, the finish and number of coats, the color, masking, any repairs, and removal and reinstallation for installed pieces. We give you a firm price after we see the job — never a guess. You can also try our powder coating cost calculator for a rough idea of what drives the cost.
QWhat colors and finishes can I choose?
Gloss, satin, matte, textured, metallic, candy and clear finishes are all available, in a wide range of colors. We can also color-match to a sample for custom work. Two-stage finishes — a base plus a clear or color coat — are used for candy, metallic and chrome-look effects.
QHow long does a powder coating job take?
Most shop jobs take a few business days, but turnaround depends on the size of the job, how much prep and blasting the parts need, and the cure time in the oven. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote the work.
QDo you pick up and deliver?
Drop-off, pick-up and delivery details are confirmed when the job is booked. For dustless and mobile blasting, we bring the rig to your home, business or job site anywhere in San Antonio.
QWhich parts of San Antonio do you serve?
We serve customers across San Antonio and its neighborhoods — from the historic center near downtown to the newer communities of the north and west sides. See our service areas page for the full list, or call to check whether your area is covered.
QDo you come to my home or business?
Yes — dustless and media blasting is done on-site at your home, business, job site or yard anywhere in San Antonio. Powder coating itself is done in the shop, because the powder has to be cured in an oven. Blasting and prep can be done on-site, but the coating is done in the shop.
QHow do I get a quote?
The fastest way is a phone call. You can also fill out the request-a-quote form on our site with photos and details about what you need. A real person will call you back to confirm the details and give you a firm price after we see the job.
